The BM25 is a durable, versatile, multi-gas area monitor with interchangeable 'smart' sensors covering a wide range of different gases. All this makes the BM25 easily adaptable to a wide variety of applications and industries, including oil refineries, pharmaceutical production, drilling rigs or any sites needing a reliable gas detection system. When the BM25 detects a hazardous level of oxygen, toxic or combustible gas, the top-mounted beacon sends a flashing, bright signal in all directions while emitting a powerful, 103dB siren alarm. The standard BM25 can send alarms via the alarm transfer cables, whilst the BM25 Wireless can send alarm, fault and readings via the 2.4GHz wireless signal. This setup can create a safety perimeter around a detected atmospheric hazard, or transmit a manually initiated emergency signal over a wide area.

Available Sensors include:CH4, and other flammable hydrocarbons, AsH3, Cl2, CO, CO2, ETO, H2, H2S, HCl, HCN, LEL, NO2, NO, NH3, O2, PH3, SiH4, SO2.

Each BM25 comes with a high capacity nickel metal-hydride battery pack offering up to 170 hours of continuous runtime (135 hours with BM25 Wireless). Long-term area monitoring is possible in hazardous locations with an intrinsically safe trickle charge power supply. Also standard are STEL and TWA readings and nearly four months of data logging capacity for a five-gas configuration.

The BM25 wireless can be used as a stand-alone monitor or linked into a mesh network to provide gas detection over a large area. The mesh network will allow each BM25 wireless to connect peer-to-peer with all other units in the network to all each unit to send, receive and relay data to any other unit in range. This allows units to communicate around obstructions and to alter communications paths should a unit be removed for recharging, or servicing. Where networks are split, they will automatically form two separate networks until the network is restored and resume the single network automatically.

Adding additional BM25 Wireless units to an existing network is as easy as turning the units on within reach of the network. The new units will automatically be added to the existing network. A total of 30 BM25 wireless units may be meshed together in a single network and up to 16 independant networks can coexist without interference.

All BM25 Wireless unit's in a single network will show alarms detected from any BM25 Wireless unit and immediately relay this to the entire network. Any units disconnected from the alarming network will still function as before and remain effective to provide local alarms in the presence of gas in the units own area, or split network. Use the part builder below to configure the BM25 with the gas sensors to meet your requirement. NB. Adding a sensor to location 5 will deactivate the sensor in location 2. Should you place an order the system will be supplied as configured.
